Kalamata Olives, Large Pitted Keg, 2KG

Kalamata (or Calamata) Olives are almond-shaped Greek olives that have a dark eggplant color and a flavor that is rich and fruity. When they are pitted, the cavity from the pit allows the wine vinegar "marinade" in which they are soaked, to penetrate the meat to enhance the flavor. Our Calamatas are "pitted" for easy eating.
